Shackles tell the story of a group of Latinx friends, Vanessa, Alex, and Jessica. The three friends get lost and set up camp near a masked killer Sam Shackles. Vanessa and Alex stay at the base while Jessica goes to get firewood. Jessica is the first to face Sam Shackles. As Jessica never returns to the campsite, Vanessa tries to convince Alex that Jessica is missing, yet Alex is still in disbelief. Vanessa goes to find Jessica and runs into Sam Shackles. Vanessa runs back to the campground and gets Alex to look for Jessica. During their search, they run into Sam Shackles, and Alex attempts to fight off Shackles. Vanessa meets Shackles one last time and gets revenge. The film ends with Vanessa having a flower ceremony for Alex and Jessica.
