By doing this a sleep deprived Mia starts to go back and forth between reality and the dreamscape. A place consumed in darkness except for a single light bulb hanging above. Here, she talks to her own subconscious and is introduced to Die Eule, a shadowy monster with owl like features.
Throughout the night, the lines between reality get blurred as Die Eule haunts and torments her. She has to try her best to make it through the night and survive her own mind. Not to mention all the work she still needs to finish.
