Bruna, 15 years old, and Daniel, 10, live with their parents. Sergio and Miriam.
Sergio, always drunk and angry, has as his favorite target his daughter, who is going through a difficult adolescent phase and loves her brother more than anything. Miriam, addicted to tranquilizers and vodka, is always half out of touch with reality and cannot find the strength to protect her children.
On the night Bruna is brutally murdered by Sergio, Daniel tries to leave his room to help her but is unable. Something holds him there.
Without his sister, Daniel no longer has anyone to protect him. Miriam makes some attempts, but she does not have the strength and courage to succeed. Daniel is now his father's primary target.
A new classmate, Carol, becomes Daniel’s best friend, and because she also comes from a home destroyed by violence, she tries to make him call for help, but that doesn't come. Even though he is aware of his parents' atrocities, he still loves them, and the weight of darkness envelops him, so Daniel doesn't see how to get out of there without a decision he doesn't want to make.
It remains to be seen what comes first. Death or something even worse for the boy.
